An injury time goal salvaged the day, and a point for Union Estepona CF in their match against Real Betis B at the Francisco Muñoz Perez Stadium this Sunday.

In a match which saw few chances in the first half, it was the second half substitutions which brought the game to life. Betis youngster Ruben Rivera put the visitors ahead in the 83rd minute, and despite determined pressure by Estepona, the visitors were still leading at the end of normal time. It was a Lalo free kick headed in by the youngster Nico Bezares in the 92nd minute that saved the day, and Lalo almost had the winner in the last gasp, but for the heroics of the visiting keeper. This was the final match in the first half of the season, and Estepona are once again at home next week where they entertain Granada CF.
