Estepona Foreign Residents Day

Once again Estepona is holding its annual Foreign Residents Day festival this weekend on Sunday, 18th April.

 

The festival, which is being held in the Palacio de Congresos is always popular with residents and visitors alike and a packed programme of entertainment is promised this year.

 

The festival, celebrates Estepona's diverse foreign communit, who take the opportunity to show off their traditions, culture, entertainment and cuisine. Also present are a number of local associations, clubs and charities catering to a wide range of interests and requirements.

This year's participants are: Cudeca, Brazil, AREME, Russia, Imbabura, Colombia, Morroco, Argentina, India, Thailand, Age Concern, Estepona Cats, Italy, Germany, American Club of Estepona, Portugal, Bolivia, Phillipines, Cuba, Venezuela, Peru, Ecuador, Royal British Legion, Animación Infantil, Israel, Panama, Poland, Alzheimer Estepona, Tawassol España, Netherlands, Press, France, ADANA, CAP, Andalucia International Club of Estepona.

Amigos de la Música celebrate Andalucía Day

Sunday, February 28th. 2010 at 7:30pm sharp

The ASABAM music association, with the help of ACEMCE, The Resident newspaper and various friends of the Municipality invite you to join them in celebrating Andalucía’s annual festival at the Lola's Showbar, in Plaza Ginebra, San Luís de Sabinillas, with the “Amigos de la Música” Choir.
Along with the Himno de Andalucía (Andalucía Anthem) they will perform a varied choral repertoire.

American Halloween - Hollywood style

Everyone joined in the fun as the Estepona/Sotogrande Chapter of The American Club Costa Del Sol enjoyed American Halloween - Hollywood Style. Some 50 Members came in fancy dress as Hollywood Stars of Past & Present.  The venue was filled to capacity by Members & Guests who came from near and far to enjoy welcoming cava, glamorous "Hollywood" company, delicous food, & Alberto's music that kept us dancing through the night.
