Un Mundo de Amigos

Premiering at the Padre Manuel Cultural Centre this marionette theatre production entitled "Un Mundo de Amigos" (A World of Friends) is based on an original text by writer Pablo Aranda. This interpretation is presented by the Miguel Pino Children's Puppet Theatre Company and portrays to young viewers a world where people of different cultures can live in harmony.

When Trudi learns that her husband Rudi is dangerously ill, she suggests visiting their children in Berlin without telling him the truth. As Franzi and Karl don't care much about their parents, Trudi and Rudi go to the Baltic Sea, where Trudi suddenly dies. Rudi is thrown out of gear, even more when he learns that his wife wanted to live a totally different life in Japan.

Renowned comic book creator and artist Carlos Pacheco will give a lecture at the Padre Manuel Cultural Centre entitled “Men and Supermen”.

Carlos Pacheco is one of the most important international artist, whose work regularly appears in some of the most popular superhero comics such as Marvel and DC and has worked on such characters as the “Fantastic 4”, “X Men”, “Batman”, “Superman” and “Green Lantern”

The odyssey of an illegal immigrant into the European Union. Our hero arrives by boat on the shores of Greece, hides in a Luxury tourist resort called "Eden Resort" and after many adventures there travels to Paris to meet a magician with whom he made acquaintance in the tourist club. We witness the adventures of Elias, our hero, only to see through his eyes the different approaches of Europeans to illegal immigrants living and struggling in their midst.
