Playa Paloma Piedra beach

Casares council’s Tendering Committee met recently to approve the granting of a concession for the construction and operation of a beach club adjacent to the Playa Piedra Paloma beach, close to the Salt Tower.

There was only one bid submitted for this concession, which was from Single Home SA, owners of the Finca Cortesin Resort, which was accepted by the committee subject to approval from the municipal technical department. Once approved construction should start immediately.
The concession has a 40 year term at a cost of 70,000 euros per annum payable to the Casares Town Hall.
The facilities should include a swimming pool, restaurant and beach club which will provide improved facilities to visitors to the area, as well as creating new jobs in the municipality.
