Ryanair has announced it will open its 38th base at Malaga in June 2010 with 4 aircraft based at Pablo Picasso airport and the establishment of 19 new routes making a total of 39 routes operated by the Irish low cost carrier from Malaga.
They will create over 200 direct jobs and offer 360 weekly flights to/from Malaga in an investment of around €175 million in the airport.
Ryanair’s 19 new routes from Malaga to Aarhus, Berlin (Schonefeld), Bratislava, Eindhoven, Gothenburg, Krakow, Maastricht, Memmingen (Munich West), Oslo (Torp), Paris (Beauvais), Pisa, Santander, Santiago, Stockholm (Skavsta), Tampere, Valladolid, Venice (Treviso), Wroclaw and Zaragoza will increase Ryanair’s traffic at Malaga to over 2m passengers a year, which will sustain 2,000 well paid local jobs in the Malaga region.
Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary said: “Ryanair is delighted to announce Malaga as our 38th base with 19 new routes from next June which are on sale on ryanair.com. With a total of 39 low fare routes from Malaga next summer Spanish consumers and visitors can beat the recession by choosing Ryanair’s lowest fares and our no fuel surcharge guarantee on 39 exciting destinations all over Europe including France, Italy and Germany among others. Ryanair’s 2m passengers each year will sustain 2,000 jobs locally at Malaga Airport”. |

The ASABAM music association, with the help of ACEMCE, The Resident newspaper and various friends of the Municipality invite you to join them in celebrating Andalucía’s annual festival at the Lola's Showbar, in Plaza Ginebra, San Luís de Sabinillas, with the “Amigos de la Música” Choir.
Along with the Himno de Andalucía (Andalucía Anthem) they will perform a varied choral repertoire.

Everyone joined in the fun as the Estepona/Sotogrande Chapter of The American Club Costa Del Sol enjoyed American Halloween - Hollywood Style. Some 50 Members came in fancy dress as Hollywood Stars of Past & Present. The venue was filled to capacity by Members & Guests who came from near and far to enjoy welcoming cava, glamorous "Hollywood" company, delicous food, & Alberto's music that kept us dancing through the night.
